New portable full-size ringable bell to be manufactured.

This full-size ringable bell will be available for hiring to take to shows & events to demonstrate full-circle ringing.

• (25/11) The 24" bell has been moulded.

• (21/12) The bell has been cast.

• (23/12) Bell collected and now in workshop.

• (02/01) New bell has been coated for protection.

• (06/03) The headstock has been machined & assembled.

• (09/03) Gudgeons & bearings have been fitted to headstock.

The bell weighs 0-1-25 (53lbs / 24kg) and is tuned to the note C.

Next, the wheel is to be designed & manufactured.

This is the last desktop model we are making. Now that we are only continueing with our 2D Compact Model Bell to continue Mr. Hartley's legacy.

A new bell was specially cast for this model. It is made of brass, has a diameter of 70mm (2.75"), weighs 159.5g (5.63oz) and has been tuned to G#. Its fittings will all be 3D Printed.

Updates:

• (Nov 2025) The bell was cast.

• (Dec 2025) Headstock & plain bearings were 3D Printed.

• (14/05) The bell was tuned, external rings carved and text engraved.

• (15/05) Headstock was assembled and fitted to the bell.

Next, the bell wheel is to be designed and 3D Printed.

A portable desktop  scaled set of tower tubular bells is to be manufactured.

This desktop set is to be a scaled down replica of our tower tubular bells that we manufacture and install in belfries, that will be playable via a keyboard to simulate our baton-clavier setup.

Updates:

• (Sep 2025) The 8 bells have been machined.

• (22/02) The bells have been tuned & polished.

All 8 bells have a diameter of 25.4mm (1"). The tenor has a length of 441mm (17.36"), weighs 4.13oz and the bells are tuned to the key of G.

Next, the bell frame is to be manufactured

The bell chamber houses a single 2cwt bell hung for swing-chiming.

Work to be carried out is as follows:

• Refurbishment of the single bell's fittings

• Installation of eight tubular bells

• Repairs to louvres

Updates:

• (Jan 2025) The Tenor Bell has been cast & tuned.

The tenor has a diameter of 3.50", a length of 90" (228cm), weighs 0-1-5 (33lbs) and has been tuned to G#.
